Paperwork stated that the guns were inactive but tests revealed they were capable of firing live ammunition

Hajdu Janos and Zsolt Bodnar, director and deputy director of Hungary's anti-terrorism unit, said: 'We can confirm that weapons were confiscated at an airport.
'This morning a private plane brought guns wrapped in a parcel from a company to an individual [in Budapest],' U.S. Weekly reported.

'Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren't.
A source said that there must have been a mistake by the movie company's employees, adding the Pitt, 47, was not to blame.
They added that interviews are being carried out to find out how the guns got into the country.

An investigation has begun into how the firearms were imported into Hungary

Importing guns is a far cry from the charitable work that Mr Pitt and his wife, Angelina, like to promote. Recently they donated $340,000 to pay for healthcare in war-torn Somalia.
In her role with the UN, Jolie, 36 , has met with many refugees who have escaped the horror, and it is a situation close to her heart.

The nation has been **suffering its worst famine in 60 years.

It's a dire state of affairs, and the United Nations says 750,000 people are at risk of starving to death in coming months.

Pitt's film has already brought areas to a stand still - this apparently American scene was actually shot in Glasgow

U.S. statistics say that the famine has already killed 29,000 children under five years old.

Mohamed Dahir, of **Humanitarian Initiative Just Relief Aid, said Badbaado camp, in Mogadishu, serves around 300 women and children each day.

He added the donation from the Hollywood stars Jolie-Pitt Foundation will help his group battle to save lives.

The US estimates the drought and famine have so far killed more than 29,000 children under the age of five in the south.
