RAF hero pilot who dodged 100 German fighters has died aged 97

Wing Commander John Wynne from Llanbedry, Gwynedd, Wales, who flew B-17 bombers during WWII has died at the age of 97. He was described as a 'gentleman and a character' by the RAF.
