Teenager tweeted message of thanks for public support following week spent in France with married maths teacher
Schoolgirl Megan Stammers returned to her home yesterday after fleeing to France with her 30-year-old married maths teacher.
The 15-year-old was seen getting out of a car outside her mother's house in Eastbourne, Sussex, five days after detectives swooped on the runaway and her teacher Jeremy Forrest in Bordeaux.
Now Megan, who flew back to Britain on Saturday, has taken to Twitter to express her gratitude for the messages of public support she has received in the wake of her dramatic flight with Forrest.
